Internet Saver Notice - Application Checklist
What do I need before I apply online for an Internet Saver Account?
When you apply for an Internet Saver Account, we'll ask you for personal information such as your name, address and date of birth.
You'll also need the following information to hand before you apply:
(1) Existing Bradford & Bingley Account Number:
If you’re an existing eSavings customer, you’ll be asked to enter your existing 7 digit account number as you apply (e.g. 96X1234567MOR) .You’ll find your account number in bold on the welcome letter we have sent you.
(2) Security Identification:
To ensure we comply with the UK's Money Laundering Regulations, we’ll need you to provide us with identification details as part of your application (even though you may already hold an account with us).
We’ll ask you for:
a) UK Passport Number.
b) Driving Licence Number.
Don’t worry if you don’t have either of these documents, there are other electronic checks we can make to confirm your identity and residency. Simply click through the screen and complete your application. If we do need more ID from you, we’ll let you know when you complete your application.
(3) Funding your account:
You’ll need a Nominated Account to be able to transfer money to and from your Internet Saver Account. You can only have one nominated account. This must be:
- A personal bank account, held with a UK Bank or Building Society and it must offer Direct Debit facilities.
You will be asked to enter the following to set it up:
a) Your Sort Code.
b) Your Bank Account Number.
