Guaranteed 50 Plus Life Cover is provided by engage Mutual Assurance* for UK residents aged 50 to 80. It is designed to provide life insurance cover with a guaranteed payout on death. Monthly payments range from £8 to £50 a month and once your policy starts, your monthly payments are guaranteed to never increase.

• Fixed premiums from just £8 per month
  That’s right, choose an amount you can afford and that’s it. Your premiums won’t increase. The cost of cover depends on the level of cover chosen and your personal circumstances. 
  
• Guaranteed tax-free cash lump sum
  The lump sum paid out to your family will be totally tax free. But, please be aware that the amount payable on death normally forms part of your estate and therefore may be subject to inheritance tax unless the plan is written in trust. Over time, inflation will reduce the buying power of the lump sum payable on death.

How the cover works:

In years one and two, cover is restricted to 150% of premiums paid up to the date of death, or if death occurs within the first two years solely as the result of an accident, the plan would pay out 3 times the sum assured to a maximum of £32,000. If you die after the first two years engage will pay out the full sum assured.

The Guaranteed 50 Plus Life Cover is not a savings plan. It has no cash-in value at any time.
