We want to make sure you have the right cover. Ultimately it’s your call, so here are the types we offer.
Comprehensive.
Comprehensive insurance covers your car against accidental damage, fire and theft. It also covers your legal liability following damage to third party property (up to £20 million) or injury to other people (including passengers). With the comprehensive option you automatically get these great extras:
Third party, fire and theft.
This covers your vehicle against loss or damage caused by fire and theft (including attempted theft). It also covers your legal liability following damage to third party property (up to £20 million) or injury to other people (including passengers). It doesn’t cover any accidental damage to your own car though.
Third party.
This covers your legal liability following damage to third party or injury to other people only. It does not cover your car against accidental damage, fire or theft.
Is there anything else I need?
Bet you thought that was all there was to motor insurance? But at Bradford & Bingley our job is to look after the best interests of our customers. So we’ve come up with one or two optional extras you might not have thought of. We think you’ll like them.
Motor legal protection.
If you’re involved in an accident that isn’t your fault, you will need to claim back your uninsured losses from the person that caused the accident. Losses may include:
Take out this protection and we’ll try and recover these losses for you and, if you need to take legal action, we’ll find and pay for a lawyer to represent you.
Breakdown cover.
Take out our insurance, and we can arrange RAC breakdown cover – at a very competitive cost.
The cover includes:
Payment protection.
Peace of mind is a wonderful thing. That’s just what you get if you take out payment protection. That’s because it will normally cover your motor insurance payments if you are unable to work due to illness, accident, or even lose your job, with one or two exceptions.
